While many of our customers are aware that First Impression is able to supply homeowners in Arizona with top quality security doors and windows, what they may not realize is that First Impression can also provide the same service for homeowners all over the country.  This month’s employee spotlight is on Nick King, a member of First Impression’s national sales team for over a year, who enjoys the challenge of helping customers across the country find the security products that suit them best.

Nick served as a former installer for two years and has worked on many aspects of customer service and support with the First Impression team.  Nick says that he finds the job to be fun because of the challenges that are posed by working with people in other parts of the country to fulfill their individual security needs.

Nick’s job entails taking web leads to find out exactly what the client wants and needs for their home.  He then offers them an array of options for their project and sends them samples to look over as to materials or colors.  From this he then creates a build sheet that goes to First Impression’s CAD department who then generates a CAD drawing for the client to approve.  This is important, because it is Nick’s philosophy to “get the job right the first time” and he wants to make sure that the customers are happy with the order up front so that they will be pleased when the product arrives and is installed.  Once this approval is given, the other departments take over and begin to construct the project.  While this is going on, Nick continues to work finding qualified installers in the customer’s area who can take on the job of putting in the finished product.  Once the product is finished, a specialized crate is constructed to ship the product to the client and helps stay in touch via email to ensure that it is delivered and properly installed to the client’s satisfaction.
